We're
pleased to introduce nitrovibegt's 2004 Vibe GT to you as the June
2006 Vibe of the Month. nitrovibegt's full write-up is below. You

additional photos of his Vibe. Once again for this month, Jason
(nitrovibegt) has written his own write-up for the article including
his Vibe's modifications and some other interesting information.

"Its a great day....
I have been in the automobile business since 1987. I have been fascinated
by cars all my life. I couldn't read a book when I was a child but
give me a Car & Driver and I'm all set... Prior to me buying
my Vibe GT, I always had a Demostrator from my job. It had been
a while since I had to buy a new car. The last new car I bought
was a 1990 Corvette ZR-1...I still have it...It hardly ever gets
driven since its in my Florida House...but thats another story...I
started with my present employer...Curran Cadillac Pontiac and GMC
Trucks in December of 2003...Instead of taking a Demo this time
around I took the money...So I needed to buy myself something...I
couldn't see myself in a Cadillac other than a CTS-V and that was
alittle out of my price range...I liked the lines of the Vibe...and
liked the power and the 6 speed on the Vibe GT. Since I sold the
product, why not drive one...I bought mine in March of 2004. I left
it mostly stock for the first year then I started getting some ideas,
mostly from Genvibe.com. So far to date I have spent in parts and
labor just over 10k...I figure Ive got another 10k to go before
I've got it right...Ultimately I want 300hp to the wheels..but still
an everyday driver...The 30 mpg is helpful at 3.50 a gallon here
in Connecticut.

- 1 excessive noise ticket
and lots more to do...in time...need to sell a few more XLR's and
Escalades... I am making the trek out to the Michigan meet in June...Looking
