We're pleased to introduce ArcsVibe's 2003 Vibe to you as the April 2006 Vibe of the Month. ArcsVibe's full write-up is below. You can also view additional photos of his Vibe. Once again for this month, Sam (ArcsVibe) has written his own write-up for the article including his Vibe's modifications and some other interesting information.

Quoted from ArcsVibe:

"I fell in love with the Vibe the moment I laid eyes on her. I had to wait 8 long months before I got her. I had originally asked for the Vibe in the Shadow color, but I received a call from my dealer informing me that they were able to get one in Neptune. I didn't want to wait another 8 months so off I went to get her. Plus it didn't hurt that I got the employee discount (brother works for GM) plus 0% financing for 60 months, plus another 1000$ off. Too sweet of a deal to pass!

I sold my 1996 Chevy Cavalier which I loved to death. Never had any issues with that car. Looked great and drove really well but the wife did not appreciate the 2 door coupe. She wanted a family car and also loved the Vibe. Her cousin ended up buying my Cavy and to this day 3 years later he is still abusing it!

I remember checking out www.genvibe.com before buying the Vibe and reading how everyone loved the car. I could not wait to join the ranks and I am proud today to be a member of this fantastic site. This is where I purchased my AEM short ram off a member. Found parts for this car like my carbon fiber vent overlays, and then Grafxwerks! Thank God for people like Ryan who help us out. It is thanks to him that we were able to create the Vibe dashboard sticker I have. Thanks Ryan! I also shaved the badges to give the car a nice clean look.

I knew after my first meet in Toronto that the mod bug had bitten me. After seeing all of those slammed Vibes and Matrixes I knew I had to act. I started by adding some punch to the audio set up by putting in a Sony MP3 player, a Pioneer 10" sub with a Kenwood amp, changing the OEM speakers to Infinity's. Ran over to www.tiretrends.com and bought my FRD 40 wheels. Then the tints came, the strut tower brace bar from Ebay….I just couldn't stop. Then finally last summer thanks to another VOTM winner Damronjr I purchased my lowering springs. Thanks Jason for a great deal. The car never looked so good. Special thanks to Sub Vibe R who installed them for me. I am glad now that Montreal finally has a crew! What a bunch of great guys!

This year I wanted to change the look of the front of the car so I added some chrome wire mesh from CustomGrillSNC. Thanks to XRS06 who nearly bled to death putting them on when I wanted to quit! The grill along with MIVibeToolguy's fog light covers really completes the look! Plus thanks to a group buy organized by POLO and Miked got some Luminacs head light and fog lights to replace those pricey Silverstars.

Keep checking out the Genvibe garage. I have more goodies coming!!! Genvibe ROCKS!"
