Toyota's Put It In Play Event Page: [1] For those of you lucky enough to live in one of the cities where Toyota will be taking the Put It In Play event, the opportunity is coming to drive the 2005 Toyota Matrix (along with the Celica and Corolla) while playing some of your favorite childhood schoolyard games. Toyota targets young drivers (18-34!) with their new festival that allows visitors to try out three of their 2005 vehicles for the young market in unusal ways - by driving them through a variety of games like Vehicular Dodgeball, Capture the Checkered Flag, and Pro Driver Speed Tag GenVibe.com visited the kickoff event in San Francisco on August 27th and had an amazing time. We were there on a press-only day while Toyota went through a trial run before the public showed up on the 28th. The games involved driving around a course at Alameda Naval Base marked off with cones, racing against the clock and another team to complete certain tasks like navigating the track, picking up flags, or avoiding obstacles. The event is a great opportunity for everyone to try out the new 2005 Matrix as well as have a good time, go driving with a pro, play some games, and just relax outdoors.
