Pontiac Vibe Gets Tuned Up and Decked Out

Take a Pontiac Vibe, mix in a GM Performance Parts Supercharger, add a Vibe Sport Package and the result is a vehicle that is as unique as the person who drives it. This extra-sporty Vibe is more than willing to flex its more powerful muscles, delivering an extra 7.5 lbs. of boost and a significant bump in horsepower and torque.

The supercharger's design is so well integrated it's hard to tell it's not original equipment. The Roots-type manifold design maximizes engine horsepower and torque without sacrificing durability. Precision vehicle calibration maintains driveability and enhances performance. Available on the base model, the supercharger increases Vibe's horsepower and torque up to 35 percent.

The GM Performance Parts Vibe Supercharger has been extensively tested and tuned, resulting in a high-quality finished product that carries a warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles from customer installation. When dealer installed, the warranty stretches to 36 months or 36,000 miles.

GM Accessories worked closely with GM's vehicle line team to create the Vibe Sport Package, a ground effects package that melds flawlessly with the Vibe's original design. The fit and finish suggest this sporty Vibe just came off the line.

The Sport Package will allow young buyers to personalize the Vibe with front and rear fascia extensions, side rocker extensions and upper and mid-gate spoilers. The rear spoilers also are available separately. This Vibe custom bodywork is available from GM Accessories in Salsa, Satellite and Abyss. It can also be ordered primed, allowing the customer to match other Vibe production colors. To complete the package, a polished stainless steel exhaust tip is also available.

The GM Performance Parts Vibe Supercharger and Vibe Sport Package will both be available in the first quarter of 2003. Customers can order the Vibe Sport Package with their vehicle and finance it in their monthly payment. When they take delivery of their vehicle, the Sport Package will be installed by the dealer.
