DETROIT -- General Motors will stage the world debut of six all-new 2005 vehicles spread among its Buick, Chevrolet and Pontiac - GMC divisions at the Chicago Auto Show.

The corporation continues to revitalize its brands with compelling new products. GM's show exhibit will feature the all-new Buick LaCrosse premium sedan; the Chevrolet Uplander and Pontiac Montana SV6 crossover sport vans; the premium GMC Envoy Denali, Envoy XL Denali and Sierra Crew Cab Denali; and the Pontiac Vibe with its mid-cycle enhancement.

"These important introductions build on GM's promise to introduce 28 new vehicles in 2004," said Gary L. Cowger, president of GM North America. "GM will address a wide range of segments and numerous markets with these new vehicles."

  • 2005 Chevrolet Uplander -- Combining compelling SUV-like styling plus family-friendly capabilities, the Chevrolet Uplander takes the mid-van segment in a new direction.
  • 2005 GMC Envoy Denali and Envoy XL Denali -- Luxury and performance-oriented traits abound in GMC's 2005 Envoy Denali and Envoy XL Denali SUVs, making the Denali level of refinement available to a new group of customers.
